This page contains answers to common questions handled by our
web master, along with some tips
and tricks that we have found useful and presented here as questions.
- How do I search the web?
- Where can I find educational sites?
- Why doesn't it go to the page I want?
- What is a discussion web site?
- When is this site updated?

So you want to search the web, but you don't know how to, well I am here to
help you out. First things first you have to send your browser to a
search engine like AltaVista. you
then have to type in the thing you wish the search. Once you have typed
it in the you have to make sure that you place speech marks at the beginning
and end of the word. Then click search and you will find that it has
called up millions of pages that contain the word you typed in. Click on
the link and this will take you to that web page, if you wish to get back then
all you have to do is to click on your back button this will take you back to
the last page that you viewed.

You can find educational sites by searching for the topic that you
require. A favorite school web site is the BBC Bite size web site, this
contains help on every subject that you will be studding.

There are several reasons why the web page you require does not load.
One reason is that the server where that page is stored is down or it has been
removed. If you get a filtered page this means the page you want
contains material that is not suitable for young children.

A discussion page is a area within in a web site that lets you post your
points and views. You can also reply to peoples views. You will
also be able to search the message archive to catch up on any news that you
forgot.

This site is updated every Sunday night with the latest news and gossip
from around the school. I will try to find a different example of
a students work so that you can see how our school is improving.
